EAT

Environmental Action Trust

EAT is a not- f o r - p r o f i t organization registered as a Trust on 21/02/1994.The organization was formed by some likeminded people to come under one roof and formalize for the up-liftment of deprived and marginalized communities. The organization was mainly operational within the community and concentrating at village level activities. With new advisory and consultants incorporatedin EAT, it has been in the process of changing its operations to new horizon and expansion to other part of the state and country with keeping its value and commitment towards the community

People

The Trust members and the core team Environmental Action Trust has rich experience in conducting large scale training programs, research, impact assessment studies, evaluation studies etc on various issues concerning rural and urban development like livelihoods, education, natural resource management etc. The key expertise that the team offers includes the following:

Locations

EAT has an administrative office in Chennai and skill training centers in Thanjavur, Hosur, Erode, Coimbatore, and Chennai.

EAT Team

The core team of EAT is young and has good experience in implementing various development projects on Environmental Awareness , impact assessment studies Education, Natural Resource Management, Skill Development and Employment, Community Based Organisation,evaluation studies etc on various issues concerning rural and urban development like livelihoods, education, natural resource management etc. EAT has 4 professionals in the core team and supported by more than 10 field level staff.
