Right to Education is a constitutional right and the government has been focusing on thisfor the past years. EAT has been successfulin eradicating child labour from its interventional areas through various lobbying, awareness generation events. A specific programme on Child right was organized for generating awareness on child rights among children un- der 18 years.
EAT has motivated and involved to con- duct organic farming with the farmers. Compost pit, vermicompost, herbal cultivation, organic pesticide is being practiced by the farmers from the 5 days training and aware- ness given to the farmers in their localities andmore than 200 farmers are practicing the same
A programme on sustainable agriculture was organised at Kamaraj Nagar of Erode district to demonstrate and encourage farmers in Vermi and Nadep compost, kitchen garden for vegetable cultivation, preparation of bio fertilizers and pesticides.
